Koror Palau – Riding high on back-to-back wins and a revamped roster, the Spoilers started the game well enough and led 25-18 after the first quarter.

The Spoilers featured four new players against Surangel, Mark Pagayanan and George Bernardo bolstered the team’s frontcourt and┬áMichael Bombita and Coco Gonzalez added depth to an already crowded backcourt.

Surangel and Sons tried to play physical to get back in game and perhaps frustrate some of the Spoilers’ players but it back fired.

Some timely baskets from Arnold Undicimo, Eric Manio and Deloy Pingot kept the game interesting. However, the Spoilers proved to be a tough customer and ended the first half leading 48-35 behind Gonzales and Bombita’s 1-2 punch.

The trend continued in the third period as the Spoilers’ lead ballooned to 20 points behind Gonzales’ play making ability, Bombita’s 3-point shooting, and team’s overall energetic play.
